In the spring of 2019, the life of 21-year-old Preston Ahmad Tyler was cut short by an act of gun violence in Jackson, Mississippi. On the evening of Tuesday, May 21, 2019, gunshots rang out on Wood Street, and when the ensuing chaos subsided, Tyler had sustained fatal injuries. Emergency services responded to the scene, but tragically, nothing could be done to save the young man's life.
