On April 4, 2024, 23-year-old Jesua Chaves was fatally shot while inside a vehicle on State Street near Presto Lane in Jackson, Mississippi. Another individual in the vehicle sustained injuries during the incident. Upon arrival, authorities transported Chaves to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
