In the early morning hours of March 24, 2021, a heated argument on Gertrude Drive in Jackson, Mississippi, shattered the quiet of the neighborhood and ended in tragedy. Inside a residence, a domestic dispute between 46-year-old Gregory Fultz and his girlfriend, Felicia Nathaniel, spiraled out of control. The verbal altercation escalated to deadly violence when Nathaniel fatally shot Fultz multiple times.
The violence did not end with Fultz's death.
In the immediate aftermath, Fultz's son, 25-year-old Chad Johnson, retaliated by shooting Nathaniel in the groin. Emergency services were called to the scene, and Nathaniel was transported to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.
