In the late hours of a Saturday, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace on Dogwood Trail in Jackson, Mississippi, leaving a scene of tragedy. When police officers arrived around 11 p.m. on August 30, 2025, they found 48-year-old Roosevelt Denson Jr. lifeless, having sustained at least one gunshot wound.
