In the heart of downtown Baltimore, on a busy Wednesday afternoon, the life of 20-year-old Khari Johnson of Gwynn Oak was tragically cut short. On January 15, 2020, Johnson was shot in the 200 block of West Baltimore Street, near the Royal Farms Arena, in broad daylight. The midday rush was shattered by the sound of gunshots, and despite being rushed to an area hospital, Johnson succumbed to his injuries.
