A late-night graduation party in Port Gibson, Mississippi, turned deadly in the early hours of May 25, 2019, resulting in the death of 28-year-old Arsenio Johnson. The celebration, held at the Claiborne County Convention Center, was shattered by gunfire at approximately 1:30 a.m. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered that Johnson had been fatally shot.
