In the late afternoon of July 15, 2020, a heated encounter in Vicksburg, Mississippi, brought a tragic end to the life of 37-year-old Christopher Marcell Johnson. The male victim was fatally shot in a parking lot situated in the 2100 block of Clay Street, behind the Boston Fish Supreme restaurant. When Vicksburg police officers were dispatched to the scene following a report of a man shot in the chest, they discovered Johnson on the ground beside a vehicle.
