In the fall of 2020, a violent encounter in a McDonald's parking lot in Canton, Mississippi, claimed the life of 24-year-old Dakarrie Johnson. The shooting, which occurred on October 21, 2020, also resulted in the death of 13-year-old Robert Luckett, Jr. and left two other individuals in critical condition.
