In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in Canton, Mississippi, a tragic scene unfolded, leaving a family shattered. Faustino Ramirez Garcia, a 20-year-old male, was found shot in the back of the head outside of a home. The discovery was made by a friend shortly after 1:30 a.m., who then alerted the police. This grim finding was only the beginning of the horror that would be uncovered at the residence.
Upon entering the home, authorities were met with a devastating sight. Inside, they found Faustino's younger sister, 19-year-old Maudilia Martina Ramirez Garcia, who was eight months pregnant, also deceased from a gunshot wound to the face. The tragedy was compounded by the discovery of Maudilia's toddler daughter who had been shot in the face but was still alive. The young child was immediately transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. Another man who was present at the scene managed to survive the violent attack by hiding in a closet.
