On a Wednesday afternoon in Canton, Mississippi, the life of 34-year-old Aaron Smith, a White/Caucasian male, was tragically cut short. On January 15, 2020, police received a call around 3:00 PM about a shooting on Jackson Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Smith lying in the yard of a residence, having sustained a gunshot wound to the left side of his back. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
