Derrick Mack, a 46-year-old resident of Canton, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on January 7, 2024, in a shooting incident that occurred on Boyd Street. The event, which took place around 7:45 p.m. on a Sunday evening, marked the first homicide of 2024 in Canton.
