On April 26, 2022, Terrell McDonald, a 29-year-old resident of Canton, Mississippi, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred at the South Canal Street Apartments around 8:30 a.m. According to Canton Police Chief Otha Brown, McDonald was shot once in the chest. The police quickly responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
