Scott Groats, a 31-year-old man from Detroit, Michigan, was tragically killed on December 18, 2011. The incident occurred between 3 and 4 a.m. near the intersection of Grand River and Bagley Streets. Scott was fatally wounded in a knife attack shortly after leaving a private party. Multiple assailants were involved in the assault, with one of them inflicting the fatal wound.
