In the quiet city of Yazoo City, Mississippi, a tragedy unfolded that cut short the life of Sylvester Young, a 64-year-old man. On the evening of March 2, 2021, Young was in his home on Willie Brown Street when he was shot multiple times. Emergency services were called to the scene, and he was quickly transported to the local Baptist emergency room in a desperate attempt to save his life.
