On the night of July 11, 2021, Roddarius Thomas, a 21-year-old resident of Port Gibson, Mississippi, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred at approximately 9:21 p.m. at a Citgo gas station located on Highway 18. According to reports, the shooting stemmed from an altercation involving multiple individuals in the gas station's parking lot. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Thomas lying on the ground, unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
