On Christmas Day, December 25, 2022, a violent domestic incident occurred in Port Gibson, Mississippi, resulting in the death of 65-year-old Donnell Brinner. The shooting took place in the late afternoon on Pattison Tillman Road, disrupting the holiday peace. Officers from the Claiborne County Sheriff's Department were dispatched to the scene around 3:55 p.m. after receiving reports of a disturbance.
