In the fall of 2014, the life of a young man, Nicolas Neal Scott, was tragically cut short in Oklahoma City. The 23-year-old male was the victim of a homicide on October 1, 2014. Born Nicolas Aweyo on June 23, 1991, in Kenya, he was adopted by American missionaries as an infant. He spent his early years in Tanzania before his family returned to the United States, eventually settling in Oklahoma.
