In the winter of 2020, a young man's life was tragically cut short in Oklahoma City. Alexis Michael Jerome Harge, a 24-year-old male, was visiting a childhood friend on February 3rd. The group had reportedly been enjoying the Super Bowl at a residence that evening. In a sudden burst of violence, the house was riddled with bullets in what authorities have described as a drive-by shooting.
When the gunfire ceased, it was discovered that three individuals had been struck.
Two of the victims sustained injuries but survived. Alex Harge, however, was fatally wounded inside the home. Investigators believe he was not the intended target of the attack, suggesting he was tragically in the wrong place at the wrong time. More than twenty spent shell casings were recovered from the street outside the house, indicating the intensity of the assault.
In the aftermath, law enforcement officials have expressed frustration over the lack of cooperation from witnesses who were present at the scene. Despite numerous people being in the house at the time of the shooting, very little information has been provided to aid the investigation. The two other individuals who were shot have also offered very limited details about the events of that night.
As of now, the case remains unsolved, and no arrests have been made in connection with the murder of Alex Harge.
