Emmanuel, known to his friends and family as 'E.J.', was a student at Prague
High School where he was an active athlete, participating in football, wrestling, and track. His death sent shockwaves through the community, as friends and family remembered him as a vibrant and well-liked young man. The investigation into his death quickly began to unfold as law enforcement worked to piece together the events that led to the fatal shooting.
The investigation led to the arrests of two men in connection with the homicide. One of the suspects was taken into custody by a U.S. Marshals task force in Pottawatomie County.
