On February 20, 2024, a tragic incident occurred at a Days Inn hotel in southeast Oklahoma City, resulting in the death of 44-year-old Anthony Porter. Oklahoma City Police Department officers responded to a call and found Porter with an apparent gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, Porter was pronounced dead at the scene.
