In the fading hours of an autumn evening in Oklahoma City, a dispute that began at a local event center tragically escalated, leaving two young men dead and a community in shock. On October 14, 2017, 23-year-old Eugene Johnson was shot and killed in a violent altercation that also claimed the life of Dareaun Fields. The incident unfolded outside an apartment complex, where the initial disagreement from the nearby venue had spilled over into deadly violence.
