In the summer of 2019, the life of 26-year-old Kendale Wright was tragically cut short in his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. On the evening of July 2nd, an argument between Wright and another man, 23-year-old Jerod Goolsby, escalated to a fatal conclusion at an apartment complex in the midtown area, near 21st and Sheridan. The two had reportedly been drinking together prior to the dispute.
The verbal altercation took a violent turn when Goolsby retrieved a firearm from his vehicle.
He then fired two shots, one of which struck Wright in the neck. Despite immediate medical attention and being rushed towards the hospital, Kendale Wright succumbed to his injury while in transit.
