On February 5, 1975, Jack Lyndon King, a 50-year-old Tulsa businessman, was murdered in a cold-blooded shooting. That evening, King was at home with his wife when he received a phone call from someone claiming to be a security company representative. The caller informed him that the back door of his business was open. Concerned, King left to check on the situation. When he did not return home, his wife drove to his business and tragically found him shot to death.
