A visit to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for a family celebration ended in tragedy for Antonio Rosales, a 43-year-old man from Chicago. In the early hours of a Sunday morning, Rosales was attending his cousin's birthday party at an event center near 31st and Mingo. The festive occasion took a dark turn when a fight broke out, leading to gunfire.
During the altercation, Rosales was struck in the chest by a bullet. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
Two other men were also wounded in the shooting, though their injuries were not considered life-threatening. The celebration, meant to be a joyous gathering of family, was irrevocably shattered by this sudden act of violence.
In the aftermath of the shooting, the Tulsa Police Department launched an investigation and identified 28-year-old Maximilliano Perez as the primary suspect. A warrant for first-degree murder was subsequently issued for Perez's arrest. Authorities have asked for the public's assistance in locating him. Rosales's family, grieving the senseless loss of their loved one, remembered him as a father who was simply visiting relatives when his life was cut short.
