In the early morning hours of September 9, 1993, a resident of a home on East Zion Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma was awakened by a knock at the door. Upon investigating, the resident found no one there but noticed a car parked on the street with its brake lights on. A call was made to the police, who arrived at the scene to a grim discovery.
