In the early hours of February 15, 2025, the life of 17-year-old Adavion Herring, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The promising young athlete was at the Brighton Park Apartments when multiple shots were fired through a bedroom window from outside, striking and killing him. Officers who responded to the scene around 2:00 a.m. found Adavion deceased inside one of the apartments from gunshot wounds.
