In the quiet of a September evening in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the life of 22-year-old Elijah Winston was brought to an abrupt and violent end. On September 20, 2017, within the walls of his own apartment at the Somerset Park complex, Winston was fatally shot, marking the city's 65th homicide of the year.
