In the early autumn of 1988, a grim discovery was made in a drainage ditch in Tulsa, Oklahoma, that would unearth a mystery lingering for years. The skeletal remains of a human skull, later identified as belonging to 19-year-old Jeffery Quinton Gourd, were found in September of that year.
