Do you know who murdered Robert? In the early morning hours of March 9, 1990, a grim discovery was made under a railroad bridge in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma. Robert Donald Alexander, a 50-year-old white male, was found semi-conscious in the street at 500 East 6th Street. He had sustained massive trauma to his head, the result of a brutal beating. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, and Alexander was quickly transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Despite the efforts of medical staff, he succumbed to the severity of his injuries and was pronounced dead.
Investigators with the Tulsa Police Department immediately began looking into the circumstances surrounding Alexander's death, classifying it as a homicide. It was learned that Alexander had recently returned to Tulsa from Indiana and was experiencing homelessness at the time of his death. Tragically, his children had hired a private investigator to locate him just months prior to the fatal assault.
