In a tragic turn of events stemming from a volatile domestic situation, Cynthia Marie Beasley, a 60-year-old woman from Louisville, Kentucky, was found dead on October 9, 2014. Her death was the result of a gunshot wound inflicted by her estranged husband, 62-year-old Morris Beasley, in a murder-suicide. The couple was discovered in their home by a family member who then alerted the police.
