In the a neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, on July 11, 2019, a burst of gunfire shattered the evening calm and tragically ended a life. When officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department arrived at the 1100 block of South 17th Street, near California Park, they found Jermaine Thompson, a 32-year-old male, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
