On March 9, 2024, 17-year-old Da'Moni Martell Smith was fatally shot in Louisville, Kentucky. The incident occurred around 12:45 a.m. in the 1700 block of Bonnyville Boulevard. Responding officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) found Smith in the 4900 block of Dixie Highway, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
