In the autumn of 2009, a quiet alley in Louisville, Kentucky, became the final scene in the young life of 17-year-old Timothy O'Connor. On the evening of October 28th, Timothy and his 21-year-old half-brother, Brandon Borders, were sitting together in a car near 22nd and Saint Xavier streets in the Portland neighborhood. The moments that followed were swift and brutal, shattering the night's calm with the sound of gunfire. Both young men were shot, their lives extinguished without warning.
