On New Year's Day of 2023, the life of 24-year-old Dorion Tisby was tragically cut short in a shooting that occurred in Louisville's Shelby Park neighborhood. Tisby was discovered with gunshot wounds on East Oak Street shortly before midnight. He was rushed to the University of Louisville Hospital in critical condition. Despite the efforts of medical staff, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 12:53 a.m. on January 2nd.
