On a summer day in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of a young man was tragically cut short. Cortez De'Sean Cobble, a 24-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on June 15, 2019. The incident occurred at 815 Cecil Avenue, a location that would become the focal point of a homicide investigation by the Louisville Metro Police Department. At the time of his death, Cobble was a resident of the city where he was born and raised.
