In the Southside neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a March weekend in 2022, leaving a family grieving and a community searching for answers. Anthony D. Watkins, a 54-year-old Black man, was found with multiple gunshot wounds on East Kingston Avenue. The shooting occurred on or around March 19th or 20th of that year.
