On a summer day in Louisville, Kentucky, a young man's life was cut short in a senseless act of violence. Aron Snorden, a 22-year-old Black/African American male, was at the Triple Crown Car Wash on August 14, 2021, when he was fatally shot multiple times in the head. The brazen attack was carried out by Kevin Thompson, who had arrived at the car wash with a female companion, Dakaisha West. After shooting Snorden, Thompson proceeded to rob his body before the pair fled the scene.
