Jacob J. M. Smith, aged 28, was tragically shot to death on September 29, 2020, in an alley located in the 2800 block of N. Fremont Avenue, Minneapolis. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed that Smith was shot multiple times. The incident occurred around 8 p.m., and despite being rushed to North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale, Smith succumbed to his injuries that night.
