On April 23, 2022, Darius Deshawn Light, aged 29, was fatally shot in Minneapolis, MN. The incident occurred just before noon on the 4100 block of Portland Avenue in south Minneapolis. Darius was in the process of moving items from a residence when a dispute arose between him and his older brother, Anthony D. Light, aged 42.
