On the evening of April 6, 2016, a young man’s life was tragically cut short on the streets of Kansas City, Kansas. Cedric A. Fields Jr., a 25-year-old male, was discovered wounded on a roadway shoulder in the vicinity of Fifth Street and Quindaro Boulevard. He had sustained gunshot wounds and was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Fields succumbed to his injuries, marking another homicide in the city.
