In the early morning hours of July 16, 2017, the quiet life of Arthur Goebel, a 66-year-old Caucasian male, was tragically cut short in his Wichita, Kansas home. An unknown individual forced their way into the residence located at 2320 E. MacArthur while Goebel and his wife were sleeping. Hearing the disturbance, Goebel, a retired United States Air Force Master Sergeant, armed himself with a handgun and went to investigate.
