On September 21, 2023, 48-year-old Addriane Kenney was fatally shot in east Wichita, Kansas. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the 800 block of South Mission Street, where officers found Kenney deceased at the scene and a 22-year-old woman critically injured. Emergency services transported the younger victim to a nearby hospital for treatment.
