A 40-year-old Black/African American woman, Addriane Kenney, was tragically killed in a shooting in Wichita, Kansas, on September 21, 2023. The incident occurred in the 1100 block of South Terrace. Officers from the Wichita Police Department were dispatched to the location following reports of a shooting and discovered Kenney inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound. Despite the immediate medical attention provided by first responders, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
