Azuri Jones-Willis, a 16-year-old girl from Wichita, Kansas, tragically lost her life on September 23, 2021. The incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. near 15th Street and Belmont Avenue, close to Wichita State University. Witnesses reported seeing two vehicles chasing each other through the neighborhood, followed by the sound of gunshots. Azuri was found with severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
