In the quiet neighborhood of the 1500 block of Haskell Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas, the late afternoon of August 17, 2022, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the lives of two brothers. Oswaldo Saucedo-Chavira, a 25-year-old male from Zacatecas, Mexico, was one of the victims, found by police officers who responded to a shooting call around 5 p.m. He and his older brother, Carlos J. Chavira, were discovered deceased at the scene, both having suffered from fatal gunshot wounds.
