On a Friday afternoon in Kansas City, Kansas, the life of 23-year-old Deandre A. Scott, a male resident of the city, was tragically cut short. The date was March 4, 2016, and just before 1 p.m., the sound of multiple gunshots, with some witnesses reporting as many as nine, rang out near a barbershop located at the intersection of 16th Street and Minnesota Avenue.
