On July 28, 2015, a fatal encounter unfolded outside the University of Kansas Hospital, ending the life of 54-year-old Michel Ziade. A successful business owner who had immigrated to the United States from Lebanon as a teenager, Ziade was known for his kindness and generosity, especially towards his employees.
