In the summer of 2014, a young Black/African American man's life was tragically cut short on the streets of Kansas City, Missouri. Hernandez Green, a 26-year-old male, was fatally shot on the evening of June 30th. The incident occurred in the 4500 block of Park Avenue, where Green was found outside a vehicle with gunshot wounds.
