On a summer evening in Kansas City, Kansas, the life of 18-year-old Philip C. Bagby, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On August 5, 2023, in the 1500 block of North 5th Street, a shooting shattered the peace and left two young people injured. Philip, along with a juvenile, was struck by gunfire. Both were rushed to an area hospital, but sadly, Philip C. Bagby succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The juvenile who was also shot was reported to be in stable ...
