On the evening of August 6, 2020, a sense of normalcy was shattered in a Kansas City, Kansas neighborhood. Jose Ning-kimble, a 17-year-old Black/African American male, was found suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound near North 62nd Street and Nebraska Avenue.
