On a summer evening in Kansas City, Kansas, the life of 38-year-old Michael Haen, a White/Caucasian male, was tragically cut short. On July 28, 1978, Haen, a dedicated Reserve Police Officer, was dispatched to the scene of a traffic accident to assist with directing traffic. What began as a routine duty call soon spiraled into a chaotic and fatal event.
